 Job Description:

As a growing Department of Defense Contractor, AUSGAR Technologies has an OPENING for a Systems Engineer IV.

This position will provide support to SPAWAR Systems Command.  The task includes planning and executing integration of Navy networks to the DoD Joint Regional Security Stack (JRSS) architecture in support of the SPAWAR JRSS project lead.

  • Responsibilities include:Conduct research to develop appropriate plans, including establishing schedules and milestones, for integration of Navy networks to the JRSS architecture in collaboration with the DISA and Navy JRSS Stakeholders.
  • Develop systems engineering technical and planning documents necessary to execute JRSS integration plans for Navy networks.
  • Assist the project lead in providing technical direction and guidance to other team personnel in support of the execution of JRSS migration.
  • Provide technical insight to the project lead on network architecture, interfaces, and design considerations related to JRSS integration and Navy networks.
  • Create, maintain, and execute task schedules. Identify and track technical and program risks.

 Total Years of Related Experience for Position:  10+ years

 Job Requirements:

  • BS Degree in Engineering/IT/Business discipline from accredited college/university or equivalent years of experience.
  • 10-15 years of experience with planning and integration of information technology systems, preferably for U.S. Navy Command, Control, Communications, Computers, and Intelligence (C4I) systems; to include the following:
    • Reviewing engineering documentation to ensure requirements are addressed
    • Performing risk assessment and mitigation
    • Support of Test and Evaluation efforts
